A new look at Mike Colter as Luke Cage has been spotted on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 while filming in New York City.
In the image, Colter’s Cage is seen wearing a stylish business suit, with director Philip Silvera also spotted beside him. See it below.
It is reported that the Defenders are officially returning in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. Most recently, Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) were spotted during filming.
During MegaCon Orlando (via Collider), Mike Colter shared that he’s open to returning as Luke Cage but isn’t actively pushing for it. He noted that Charlie Cox has encouraged him to come back and said he’d love to revisit the role for fans. Colter also confirmed that Luke Cage is “still in Harlem.”
Zabryna Guevara’s Sheila Rivera will become the new Mayor of New York City in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. In the image below, Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Guevara (Sheila Rivera) are seen on set.
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, the series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
Returning cast members include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. The season also marks the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and introduces Matthew Lillard as the mysterious Mr. Charles.
