Marvel President Kevin Feige has officially revealed the first official concept art for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday at the Bilibili Shanghai Event 2026.
In the official new Avengers: Doomsday mural below, you can see Doctor Doom, Thor, Steve Rogers, Captain America (Sam Wilson), the Thunderbolts*, the Fantastic Four, Cyclops, Black Panther, Shang-Chi, and many other Avengers, X-Men, and Wakandans.

There was also a big surprise for the audience, as Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth sent a pre-recorded video message to fans from the set of Avengers: Doomsday. See the footage below.
Robert Downey Jr. said, “We’re taking a quick break from the set of Avengers: Doomsday, and wanted to say ‘hello’ to all you lovely people.”
Chris Evans added, “Doomsday is coming, and the stakes have never been higher. Witnessing how much you love this universe and these characters keeps us going.”
Chris Hemsworth concluded, “Like our collective boss and friend Kevin will soon tell you, we’re working hard to make this the most epic movie yet.”
Feige revealed Robert Downey Jr.’s first reaction when he was offered the role of Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday.
“His exact words were, ‘I played the best hero… I can play the best villain.'”
Feige said Doctor Doom is a scientist, a technologist, a sorcerer, and a ruler, making him one of Marvel’s most complex characters.
“He’s a scientist, he’s a technologist, he’s a sorcerer, and a ruler. To embody that complexity, that tragedy, and that charisma, you need the greatest actor in the world.”
Kevin Feige Confirms Marvel’s X-Men Reboot Will Release After Avengers: Secret Wars
Kevin Feige confirmed that Jake Schreier’s X-Men movie will be released after Avengers: Secret Wars. Feige said that the MCU timeline will continue with Avengers: Doomsday, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, and then the arrival of the X-Men. He confirmed that the mutants will officially enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Secret Wars.
Feige said, “I can’t wait for all of you to see Avengers: Doomsday. We have a movie after that called Avengers: Secret Wars, and after that, the mutants are coming and the X-Men are coming, and that’s been a dream of mine.” He added, “I started with the X-Men many, many years ago, and bringing a new version into the MCU is going to be very exciting.”
Here’s the new synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
“Earth’s Mightiest Heroes—Steve Rogers, Shuri, Thor, Loki, Ant-Man, Captain America, Falcon, Shang-Chi, Bucky Barnes, Yelena Belova, and Red Guardian—along with the Avengers, will return as distinct universes (Earth-616, Earth-828, and Earth-10005) are set on a deadly collision course, facing an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
