A new report from an insider reveals that the Infinity Saga timeline may have secretly been manipulated by He Who Remains. There are also reportedly multiple canonical versions of the MCU timeline before the events of Avengers: Secret Wars.
According to Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus), He Who Remains may have ultimately “won” the Multiverse Saga even after his death.
“Even though he’s not in either movie, He Who Remains won. And we’ll leave it at that.”
Alex also shared some plot details for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. In Doomsday, Shuri, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Beast, the TVA, and Monica Rambeau reportedly explain incursions and the multiverse through science.
Meanwhile, Thor and Loki are said to approach the multiverse through magic, while Doctor Doom reportedly combines science, magic, and experience into his understanding of the multiverse.
Yelena Belova is reportedly a major emotional connection for Bob/Sentry. Also, Bob may also reportedly interact with a “certain Cajun,” possibly teasing Gambit. Alex Perez claims at least 8–9 actors involved in the film have not been officially revealed yet.
In Secret Wars, resistance teams are rumored to become the main focus of the story. Several heroes may reportedly remain mind-controlled throughout the movie.
The returning villains from across the multiverse are said to be “fair game,” while characters connected to Valhalla may potentially appear.
Hulk, Vision, and Star-Lord are rumored to skip Doomsday but play major roles in Secret Wars. Wiccan reportedly has a major but mysterious role teased through song references.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
