A new behind-the-scenes image featuring Donald Glover‘s Prowler from ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse‘ has been revealed. In the film, Glover portrays an alternate version of Aaron Davis/Prowler, who previously appeared in the MCU film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘ (2017). See the image below.
In Across the Spider-Verse, Donald Glover’s Prowler is in a prison at the Spider-Society’s headquarters on Earth-928. The headquarters is a massive complex where many different versions of Spider-Man reside.
‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has earned over $200 million worldwide, with $125 million coming from its US release. As per Deadline, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is the sixth highest-grossing animated film in terms of domestic box office openings. It falls behind ‘Incredibles 2’ ($182.6 million), ‘Super Mario Bros’ ($146.3 million), ‘Finding Dory’ ($135 million), ‘Frozen 2’ ($130.2 million), and ‘Toy Story 4’ ($120.9 million). This Marvel sequel also represents the best start ever for Sony Animation.
‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is a highly praised film. It received an “A” rating from CinemaScore, has a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and is one of the highest-rated movies on Letterboxd.
