The first look at the promotional booth for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday at the Shanghai Expo has been revealed.
On X, user @QiaoPM shared images of the Marvel section under construction at the Shanghai Expo. The images show Doctor Doom’s throne, along with promotional displays featuring the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and Wakanda.
Below, you can see a first look at some of the major locations featured in Avengers: Doomsday, including Avengers Headquarters, Wakanda, the Baxter Building, and the X-Mansion.
In the X-Mansion booth, Professor X’s wheelchair and Magneto’s chair can be seen. See them below.
In a recent interview with ABGO, the Russo Brothers said Avengers: Doomsday will be a complete reinvention of the Avengers franchise. According to the directors, audiences won’t expect the movie’s story, tone, or overall direction.
“Doomsday is a complete reinvention. It’s another swing. I don’t think the audience is expecting it at all—what happens in the movie and its tone and its subject matter. It feels like another profound shift for them in that serialized story.”
The Russo Brothers said that Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom costume is their favorite in the MCU.
“It’s representative of the character in a way that the costume and the character really, really fit.”
Here’s the official synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
“Beloved heroes from three distinct universes (Earth-616, Earth-828, and Earth-10005) will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
