New Season 2 Set Photo Shows John Cena and Jennifer Holland Ready for Action on Peacemaker’s Bike!

Peacemaker is getting a special upgraded bike in Season 2.

A new set photo from HBO’s Peacemaker Season 2 reveals John Cena‘s Peacemaker and Jennifer Holland‘s Emilia Harcourt riding Peacemaker’s special bike, which features an A.R.G.U.S. logo. Check out the image below.

In the last week of November, DC’s James Gunn confirmed that Peacemaker Season 2 has officially wrapped filming. He wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

“And that is a WRAP on Peacemaker Season 2, including our last remaining actors Steve Agee, Tim Meadows, Sol Rodriguez, & Brandon Stanley (and our DP Sam McCurdy, pictured here moments after the last shot). Thanks to our entire cast & crew who made this a wonderful experience. My relief to have a break from shooting after ten months straight is countered by how much I’ll miss all of you!”

In a recent interview with GamesRadar, Frank Grillo, who plays Rick Flag Sr. in Peacemaker Season 2, confirmed that revenge is a key theme, if not the main focus, of the upcoming season.

Grillo said, “It really is. It doesn’t go without me. I still understand the capacity in which I have to serve this world.” He added, “It’s a big responsibility, and so I have to be careful so that it doesn’t go too far, which has been fun as an actor to balance. John Cena and I have a pretty serious, epic scene that culminates with all this anger.”

The show is set in the DC Universe (DCU) and serves as a “soft reboot” of the series, which originated as a spin-off from the 2021 DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film—The Suicide Squad. It is produced by DC Studios with Gunn as the showrunner.

Cena returns as Christopher Smith, also known as Peacemaker, alongside Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux, and Tim Meadows as Langston Fleury, with David Denman appearing in an undisclosed role.

Peacemaker Season 2 will consist of eight episodes and will premiere in August 2025 on Max.
