The first synopsis for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been revealed. The film’s events officially take place in 2028, four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
According to Penguin Random House Network, the world’s largest trade book publisher, which has listed Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie, the book features the first plot synopsis: “Marvel Studios is proud to present the latest volume in its acclaimed Art of the Movie series as Spider-Man swings back onto the silver screen!”
Here’s the plot synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero. Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is no more, but Spider-Man is at the top of his game, keeping New York City safe. Things are going well for our anonymous hero until an unusual trail of crimes pulls him into a web of mystery larger than he has ever faced before.
In order to take on what lies ahead, Spider-Man not only needs to be at the top of his physical and mental game, but he must also be prepared to face the repercussions of his past.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day – The Art of the Movie will be released on August 4, 2026. The book contains 224 pages and is priced at $50.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
