Finally, the actor who will play He-Man in the live-action Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Film‘ ‘Masters of the Universe‘ has been found.
Amazon MGM Studios has cast Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man in the ‘Masters of the Universe’ movie. He recently starred in Amazon MGM’s rom-com ‘The Idea of You.’
On the X platform, Amazon MGM Studios announced the news, “He has the power. Nicholas Galitzine to star as “He-Man” in Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films’ Live-Action Masters of the Universe.”
Directed by Travis Knight (“Bumblebee” and “Kubo and the Two Strings”) from a screenplay by Chris Butler. Produced by Mattel Films’ Robbie Brenner and Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch.
The ‘Masters of the Universe’ plot follows “10-year-old Prince Adam, who crashed to Earth in a spaceship and was separated from his magical Power Sword—the only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking it down almost two decades later, Prince Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor. But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam will first need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe!”
Galitzine has a close tie with Amazon. He starred in ‘The Idea of You’ alongside Anne Hathaway and appeared in ‘Red, White, & Royal Blue’. He also featured in the Amazon title ‘Cinderella’ with Camila Cabello. Recently, he was in the Showtime series ‘Mary & George’.
