Focus Features has released the first trailer for “Piece by Piece,” a Lego-animated musical comedy-drama about the life and career of American musician Pharrell Williams, he stars in the film, co-produces it, and contributes original music. Watch the trailer below.
According to Focus Features, “Piece by Piece is a unique cinematic experience that invites audiences on a vibrant journey through the life of cultural icon Pharrell Williams. Told through the lens of LEGO® animation, turn up the volume on your imagination and witness the evolution of one of music’s most innovative minds.”
Directed by Morgan Neville, “Piece by Piece” is the fifth theatrical Lego film and the first under Universal Pictures, following Warner Bros. Pictures’ previous films.
The voice stars are Williams, Neville, Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg.
Produced by Neville, Caitrin Rogers, Williams, Mimi Valdés, and Shani Saxon, the film is a co-production between The Lego Group, Williams’ I Am Other, and Neville’s Tremolo Productions.
Piece by Piece will hit theaters on October 11, 2024, by Focus Features in the United States and Universal Pictures internationally.
