The release date for ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish‘ on Netflix has been revealed. The film is set to release on July 13, 2023, on Netflix.
‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ was released in theaters on December 21, 2022. Following its theatrical release, the film became available on Peacock on March 10, 2023. Serving as a spin-off to the original “Puss in Boots” movie from 2011, this installment is the sixth film in the Shrek franchise. It is directed by Joel Crawford, with Januel Mercado serving as co-director.
In ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,’ the voice cast features Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek Pinault reprising their roles as the titular character, Puss in Boots, and Kitty Softpaws, respectively. They are joined by a talented ensemble of actors lending their voices to new characters introduced in the film.

According to the film’s plot:
Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet. Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek). In their quest, Puss and Kitty will be aided–against their better judgment–by a ratty, chatty, relentlessly cheerful mutt, Perro (Harvey Guillén, What We Do in the Shadows). Together, our trio of heroes will have to stay one step ahead of Goldilocks (Oscar® nominee Florence Pugh, Black Widow) and the Three Bears Crime Family, “Big” Jack Horner (Emmy winner John Mulaney, Big Mouth) and terrifying bounty hunter, The Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura, Narcos).
‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ grossed over $484 million worldwide, making it the tenth-highest-grossing film of 2022. It received nominations for Best Animated Feature at the 95th Academy Awards, as well as at the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards, and British Academy Film Awards.
