'Red One' VOD Release Date Revealed

The VOD release date for Red One has been revealed. The film will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video starting December 12, 2024.

The film has received a 30% score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6.9/10 on IMDb, a 34% on Metacritic, and an A- on CinemaScore.

Directed by Jake Kasdan from a screenplay by Chris Morgan, it is based on an original story by Hiram Garcia. In the film, Dwayne Johnson stars as Callum Drift, Chris Evans as Jack O’Malley, with Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu as Jacqueline Frost, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, J.K. Simmons as Santa Claus, Nick Kroll, Kristofer Hivju as Krampus, Wesley Kimmel, and Bonnie Hunt as Mrs. Claus. Jenna Kanell also features in the cast.

After Santa Claus – Code Name: RED ONE – is kidnapped, the North Pole’s Head of Security (Johnson) must team up with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in a globe-trotting, action-packed mission to save Christmas.

Produced by Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia, Jake Kasdan, Melvin Mar, and Chris Morgan. Warner Bros. Pictures is handling international distribution in its deal with Amazon MGM Studios.

Red One was released internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures on November 6, 2024, and in the United States by Amazon MGM Studios through Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on November 15, 2024.
