Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
Robert Downey Jr.‘s Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom is already dealing with multiversal incursions, as he is aware that Earths collide at any time in Avengers: Doomsday. Doom is from the Fantastic Four (Earth-828) universe.
According to Alex P (via The Cosmic Circus), Reed Richards and Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday are two geniuses, but with very different ideas on how to save the multiverse—described as “two sides of the same coin.”
Doctor Doom has real experience with incursions and knows what’s coming, whereas Reed has only ever seen it from a theoretical point of view.
Why does Doctor Doom seek revenge on Steve Rogers?

In the Avengers: Doomsday plot leaks, it is reported that Steve Rogers moving to the Fantastic Four universe is what triggered the incursions, leading Doom to become obsessed with stopping them. One of his experiments then explodes, killing his family and leaving him disfigured, which is why he seeks revenge on Steve.
Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter, and their son have reportedly been living on Earth-828 for a decade. Reed Richards had no knowledge of their presence until Doctor Doom questions whether someone in their universe might not belong there. Using a device to investigate, Reed scans for anomalies and discovers Steve.
According to MyTimeToShineHello, in Avengers: Doomsday, Victor von Doom asks the Fantastic Four for help with the incursions. They travel together to the MCU in their ship to warn everyone, then join forces to head to the X-Men universe, the source of the next incursion. They must stop it before that universe destroys their own.
It is rumored that Avengers: Doomsday features a scene showing Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm at a baseball game, while Doctor Doom speaks with Franklin and Sue inside the Baxter Building. The scene is said to continue the post-credits moment from The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
