Damien Chazelle is set to write and direct an untitled movie for Paramount Pictures.
During Paramount’s CinemaCon 2024 presentation, it was revealed by Deadline that Chazelle has signed an overall deal with Paramount Pictures. He will direct his first film, set in a prison, based on a script he wrote. Further plot details were not disclosed.

Chazelle signed his overall deal with Paramount at the end of 2022 after working with the studio on his most recent film, Babylon.
