Report: Florence Pugh Recently Filmed Skydiving Scene in Malaysia for Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts’

Fans of Florence Pugh must be proud of her new risky shot for Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts.’ Following the wrap, Pugh was reportedly in Malaysia recently to film some scenes for the film.

According to stunt performer Sarah Irwin, it is rumored that one of the scenes will feature a character jumping off the world’s second-highest building in Kuala Lumpur.

At the 2024 CineEurope Disney presentation, Marvel Studios screened a new behind-the-scenes video from the film’s set featuring Pugh and Sebastian Stan.

‘Thunderbolts’ is directed by Jake Schreier and stars Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Pugh as Yelena Belova, Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Pullman as Sentry, and Geraldine Viswanathan as Erin. Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Weisz are confirmed to reprise their roles as scientist Bill Foster and spy Melina Vostakov.

According to the film’s plot, “Yelena Belova (Pugh), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Ava Starr), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) are sent by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Louis-Dreyfus) to kill Sentry (Lewis Pullman) in a vault. They realize they’ve been set up and were meant to die on this mission. So, they team up against their boss—to take her down.”

‘Thunderbolts’ will hit theaters on May 2, 2025, in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens worldwide.
