Marvel Studios has not yet finalized how Avengers: Doomsday will end.
According to Daniel Richtman in his latest Patreon post, Marvel Studios reportedly still hasn’t locked in the final act of Avengers: Doomsday. Stephen McFeely, who is writing the script, is working with Marvel to finalize the ending.
Richtman also revealed that Marvel Studios is reportedly filming scenes for Avengers: Doomsday set in the world of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. These scenes take place during a baseball game.
In a recent plot leak, it was revealed that Avengers: Doomsday will involve the Incursions between Earth-616 and the Earth-10005 X-Men universe. Shuri/Black Panther (Letitia Wright), will be the one who discovers the Incursions. While detecting anomalies in the fabric of reality and investigating the multiverse, she realizes that different universes are beginning to collide.
Directed by Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator, McFeely. Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) will be the cinematographer.
In Avengers: Doomsday, the MCU begins the beginning of the end. As the multiverse nears total collapse, the Avengers assemble to face their greatest challenge yet—incursions, catastrophic collisions between realities that could destroy the entire multiverse. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must race against time to save their reality while confronting the powerful figure behind it all—Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).

Marvel President Kevin Feige revealed at CinemaCon 2025 that Avengers: Doomsday will focus on the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, the New Avengers (Thunderbolts), and the original X-Men all uniting to fight Doctor Doom (Downey Jr.).
