Johnson presented the international icon award to her friend and collaborator Luca Guadagnino at the first “A Taste of Sundance” event on Thursday night.
Onstage, Johnson praised the director’s 2017 Oscar-winning Sundance indie “Call Me By Your Name” and teased that she was given the role of the peach in the coming-of-age drama. Due to schedule problems, she declined the lead role.
