Robert Downey Jr. has shared a new behind-the-scenes image from the set of Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday. He is seen reading Jeremy Renner’s new book My Next Breath during a filming break.
On Instagram, Downey Jr. shared the image and wrote, “Reading Renner’s book and feeling stronger already… what a journey to wisdom… very instructive… a must-read!” See the image below.
This image might be a major spoiler for Downey Jr.’s look as Victor Von Doom. In the photo, he flexes his muscles, and in the background, we can see a costume change van with a poster on it that reads, “Do Not Knock, Trust Yourself.”

Avengers: Doomsday will mark the beginning of the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). As the multiverse nears total collapse, the Avengers assemble to face their biggest challenge yet—incursions, catastrophic collisions between realities that could destroy the entire multiverse. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must race against time to save their reality while confronting the powerful figure behind it all—Victor Von Doom (Downey Jr.).
Directed by Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator, Stephen McFeely. Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) will be the cinematographer.
