The VOD release date for ‘Romance with a Twist‘ has been revealed. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV on June 18, 2024.
Directed by Max McGuire from a screenplay by Uma Incrocci. The film stars Jocelyn Hudon as Luna, Olivier Renaud as Bennett, Candice Lidstone as Gabby, Stephanie Herrera as Katrina, Jamie Champagne as Henry, Naomi Gaskin as Audrey, Tanya Clarke as Rosie, Darrin Baker as Richard, Rebecca Applebaum as Candice, Alice Hamid as Holly, and Erin Gutri as The Alchemy Sisters.
Here’s the synopsis for Romance with a Twist:
Luna (Hudon), an ex-dancer who left that dream behind for a grounded life managing her family’s construction business, steps into a life changing opportunity when she takes a job turning a gymnasium into a studio for aerials. As she’s finishing up the job, she can’t resist giving the silks a try just to see if she’s still got it. She is transported back to her days on stage for just a moment until Bennett (Renaud), a world-class aerialist, walks in and interrupts her… and he’s rather annoyed to find his contractor messing around on the silks.
With Luna’s help, the studio is now ready for rehearsals for the local Hazelton Arts Festival where Bennett will perform an aerial duet in a show stopping finale. The only problem is his partner has bailed at the last minute and he can’t do it alone. With the festival just a few short weeks away, Bennett’s sister convinces him to partner up with Luna, who is eager to prove herself and get back on stage. Soon enough, she faces the challenge of a lifetime as they rehearse for the show. As the strenuous work of this dynamic sport bring them closer together, will their relationship crash or will they find a way to reach new heights?
