Finally, the MCU will have Peter Parker’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson.
Following the casting of Sadie Sink in Marvel’s Spider-Man 4 alongside Tom Holland, her role is rumored to be Mary Jane (MJ) in the film.
During the latest episode of THE HOT MIC, Jeff Sneider stated that Sadie Sink might be playing the role of Mary Jane in the upcoming Spider-Man movie. (Note: Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed this yet.)
On Instagram, Sink jokingly shared a post on her IG story claiming that she is playing Uncle Ben in Spider-Man 4.
The filming is scheduled to begin in June 2025 in the United Kingdom and is expected to wrap in October 2025. The script is reportedly still undergoing rewrites by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers following the weak structure of the early draft. The film now has a production budget of $200 million.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by McKenna and Sommers, it will be the fourth installment of the Spider-Man series.
The film will be produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man 4 will hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
