Sally Hawkins (The Shape Of Water) will star in A24‘s new horror film, ‘Bring Her Back,’ directed by ‘Talk To Me‘ directors Danny and Michael Philippou. This marks their second collaboration with A24.
The horror thriller plot details are under wraps, as per Deadline the filming is scheduled to begin this summer. The confirmed cast as of now is only Hawkins, more will be announced soon after the production begins.

‘Talk to Me’ follows a group of teenagers who discover they can contact spirits using a mysterious severed and embalmed hand. The film became A24’s highest-grossing horror film domestically, grossing $91.9 million worldwide against a $4.5 million budget. Also, a sequel is currently in development.
Hawkins has only been in one horror film before, back in 2007. However, she was Oscar-nominated for her memorable performance in Guillermo Del Toro’s fantasy creature feature ‘The Shape Of Water’. Most recently, she played Willy’s mother in the box office smash ‘Wonka’.
‘Bring Her Back’ is scheduled for release in theaters by A24 in 2025.
