Lionsgate Movies released the first trailer for ‘Saw X,’ the tenth movie in the Saw film series, serving as an interquel between Saw and Saw II, where John Kramer (Tobin Bell) returns and explores his personal game and traps for con artists.
What is the Plot of Saw X?
According to the film’s official plot:
Saw X: John Kramer (Tobin Bell) is back. The most disturbing installment of the SAW franchise yet explores the untold chapter of Jigsaw’s most personal game. Set between the events of SAW I and II, a sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps.
Directed by Kevin Greutert from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger. The film also stars Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young, Synnøve Macody Lund as Dr. Cecilia Pederson, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, Renata Vaca as Gabriela, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, and Octavio Hinojosa as Matteo.
In “Saw” (2004), two men chained in a decrepit bathroom must endure gruesome tests set by the sadistic Jigsaw killer to uncover his twisted motives and escape, while in “Saw II” (2005), Detective Eric Matthews races against time to save a group of people trapped in a deadly house by the cunning Jigsaw killer, as they face brutal challenges tied to their past sins; both films achieved considerable box office success.
