Note: This article contains potential spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The second trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has reportedly leaked online, following a similar situation with the film’s first trailer. Low-quality footage from the trailer is currently circulating across social media platforms, and both Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have reportedly issued DMCA takedown notices to accounts sharing the leaked footage.
Following the leak, a detailed description of the trailer, along with several major spoilers involving Hulk, has also surfaced online. Here’s the reported description of the trailer:
“My name is Peter Parker.”
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer begins inside a prison. Spider-Man and The Hand square off, with several acrobatic moves showcased by the ninjas. The sequence ends with the shot seen at the end of the first trailer, but this time the full scene is shown and revealed to take place inside the prison.
The next scene shows Peter Parker watching a livestream featuring Ned and MJ.
Peter then puts on his web-shooters, but they suddenly fly off toward a wall. It appears that he now has organic webbing.
The trailer then cuts to Peter meeting Bruce Banner.
Peter: “You found a way to suppress mutating DNA, right?”
Bruce: “If you see me without this, run!”
Bruce then jokingly yells.
The following scene features Peter swinging through the city at incredible speed. A bird gets stuck to his stomach, causing him to lose control. He crashes into several objects before landing at a wedding, apparently while trying to escape Jean Grey.
The trailer then becomes increasingly frantic.
A tank runs over Spider-Man. It cuts to a brief shot of William Metzger speaking with the leader of The Hand.
We then see Jean Grey with a darkened face, resembling the Void from Thunderbolts.
A massive explosion occurs on an island and impacts the city. Everyone appears frozen except for Spider-Man and the Punisher. A third character is also present, but the viewer who shared the description could not identify them.
Jean Grey is shown jumping from mind to mind in search of Spider-Man. In one sequence, Spider-Man swings from a helicopter.
The trailer then slows down.
Peter is seen in Ned’s room, where he notices several photos of Spider-Man. Ned is apparently a huge Spider-Man fan, as he jokingly points out himself.
MJ introduces herself to Peter Parker.
The trailer quickly ramps up again.
A web-based explosion sends Spider-Man crashing to the ground. Jean Grey asks if he is okay before threatening MJ.
Peter tells Jean that she is not going to get away with it. The trailer then cuts to Grey Hulk. Jean somehow causes Hulk to transform, most likely through mind control.
Hulk grows to an enormous size, leaving Peter visibly intimidated. Peter runs away as Hulk chases him through a hallway. Hulk unleashes a thunderclap, sending Spider-Man flying.
The next scene shows Spider-Man swinging to MJ’s house. He warns her that she is in danger. MJ immediately believes him and agrees to leave with him. The trailer then cuts to the two swinging together, reminiscent of scenes featuring Peter Parker and Mary Jane in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy.
Spider-Man later introduces MJ to the Punisher. When MJ asks who he is, Peter tells Frank that he has nowhere else to go.
Marisa Tomei’s voice begins narrating the trailer.
Peter is shown falling from a building. MJ and the Punisher share a brief exchange.
The trailer then returns to the prison, where The Hand has arrived in force. Peter appears without his mask, bruised and battered, staring down sadly.
It then cuts to the Punisher inside a car, saying that if Spider-Man is going to do something, he had better do it now.
Aunt May’s voice takes over the narration:
“This whole thing can get really scary. Now I want you to remember your responsibility. Never forget that, no matter how powerful you become.”
Peter watches a ninja star flying toward him in slow motion.
The Hand’s ninjas leap off one another to reach Spider-Man, who is clinging to the prison ceiling. Peter charges toward them and creates a massive web tornado, taking down the attackers.
The trailer then cuts to Peter standing at Aunt May’s grave. He says that he misses her before blowing a goodbye kiss. The trailer ends with Spider-Man trapped beneath a collapsing building, with Hulk apparently involved in the sequence.
Afterward, one final comedic scene plays. Spider-Man arrives at the prison to rescue someone and is immediately surrounded by guards. He asks for one second, cracks a few jokes, stretches, and then asks if the guards are ready. The scene cuts to Spider-Man effortlessly defeating all of them.
Notably, Tombstone, Boomerang, Scorpion, and Tarantula do not appear in the trailer.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
