Taylor Cahill has replaced Gal Gadot as the fake Wonder Woman in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Initially reported that Gadot will be reprising her role as Wonder Woman in the film, also rumors spread that she had filmed a cameo. Most recently, Gadot was fired as a result of a decision made by DC Studios’ CEOs, James Gunn, and Peter Safran.

According to reports from the world premiere, Shazam! Fury of the Gods received positive reviews from critics, similar to the first film. Fury of the Gods is endearing, hilarious, entertaining, and epic.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film will star Zachary Levi as Shazam, Asher Angel as Billy Batson, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman, Adam Brody as Superhero Freddy, Rachel Zegler as Anthea, Ian Chen as Eugene Choi, Ross Butler as Superhero Eugene, Jovan Armand as Pedro Peña, D.J. Cotrona as Superhero Pedro, Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield, Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley, Meagan Good as Superhero Darla, with Lucy Liu as Kalypso, with Djimon Hounsou as Shazam, and Helen Mirren as Hespera.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
