Showtime dropped the first trailer for ‘The Curse,’ starring Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder. The series explores the struggles of newlyweds Asher Siegel (Fielder) and Whitney Siegel (Stone) as they attempt to conceive a child while working together on their problematic HGTV show, Flipanthropy. The Curse is a genre-bending SHOWTIME® series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show.
‘The Curse,’ created by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. It stars Emma Stone, Fielder, and Safdie. The series was filmed from June to October 2022 and will premiere on Showtime and Paramount+ for subscribers on November 10, 2023, with its on-air debut on Showtime on November 12.
The first three episodes will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 12, 2023. It’s a co-production with A24, with Fielder as the director and co-creator and Benny and Josh Safdie as executive producers for Elara Pictures. Fielder, Stone, Dave McCary, and Ali Herting also serve as executive producers.
