Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature a large lineup of classic villains. The film is also set to make history by having the most Spider-Man villains in a single movie.
According to The Cosmic Circus, there will be nine villains appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including Scorpion, Tombstone, The Hand, Boomerang, Tarantula, Ramrod, 8-Ball, The Jackal, and The Enforcers. By staying true to the comics, Destin Daniel Cretton makes the Bar with No Name an ideal establishment for bringing all these villains together in one place.

Insider MAJESTIC reported that in Spider-Man: Brand New Day there is a fight at the Bar with No Name. It is full of villains, and Spider-Man is looking for clues to find someone. He fights all the criminals and is badly injured, but ends up being saved by Frank Castle. Peter is losing his powers. Frank takes him to an acquaintance who can heal his wounds.
As reported by 3C Films, Harry Holland, Tom Holland’s brother, is rumored to be playing Boomerang in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Recently, MyTimeToShineH reported that Marvel Studios and Sony wanted Cardi B to play one of the villains included in a montage in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In the leaked trailer, we learn that Holland’s Spider-Man will gain organic webbing, and Peter becomes trapped in a cocoon before emerging with natural, organic web-shooters.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
