The Flash Movie’s Budget Reaches $330 Million with Marketing Campaign
The budget for ‘The Flash,’ including its marketing campaign, is reported to be very expensive, estimated to be around $330 million. The production budget for the film alone is estimated to be in the range of $200–220 million. It is important to note that the production budget and the total budget, which includes marketing expenses, are not the same. This concept applies to most blockbuster movies, where the marketing budget is often comparable to, if not larger than, the production budget.
‘The Flash’ is scheduled to hit theaters on June 12, 2023. The film is tracking to earn between $115 million–$140 million during its opening weekend at the domestic box office. The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti and written by Christina Hodson, the plot is based on the comic book storyline “Flashpoint,” and follows: Worlds collide when the Flash uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past. However, when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, he becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, the Flash looks to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian—albeit not the one he’s looking for.
