Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly end on a major cliffhanger, with Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom creating Battleworld as part of his plan.
According to insider MAJESTIC, the Void (TVA) and the Quantum Realm will serve as the two escape routes for some of the heroes during the final incursion in Avengers: Doomsday. One group of heroes will be led by Cassie into the Quantum Realm, while another escapes on a raft across the surface of the Void as Doom creates Battleworld.
The Void is confirmed as one of the escape routes after the end of existence. The Quantum Realm also functions as a multiversal refuge and is key to the survival of certain heroes. When the final Incursion occurs, one group will survive in the Quantum Realm, while another escapes on a ship or raft across the surface of the Void (TVA) as Doom creates Battleworld.
In the Void, Doom is like Cassandra Nova, ruling over everything as a god.
We previously shared a rumor that one of the Avengers: Doomsday post-credits scenes features a new world set in the year 1600. People and children are seen walking and talking in a peaceful environment. In the background, a green-cloaked figure stands out against the horizon: Doctor Doom. The scene reveals that Doom has recreated a new world. “The worlds finally collide. The universes are destroyed. Nothing remains. Only Doom.“
According to reports, Avengers: Doomsday will undergo additional photography specifically for actors who were unable to film last year. Filming is set to begin in April 2026.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
