Sony is developing a live-action ‘Jak and Daxter‘ movie with Tom Holland as Jak and Chris Pratt as Daxter.
A Twitter/X user named MyTimeToShineHello, known for accurate leaks, revealed that Tom Holland and Chris Pratt are reuniting for Sony’s ‘Jak and Daxter’ film. Tom will voice Jak, and Chris will voice Daxter, following their roles after Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Ruben Fleischer will direct the film.
In a 2022 Gamespot interview, Holland shared his idea for a gritty live-action ‘Jak and Daxter’ movie. He wanted to play Jak and make it dark and weird, envisioning it with A24. However, A24 isn’t involved in this rumored adaptation.
Holland said, “I would like to make a Jak and Daxter movie, and I would play Jak, but I would make it at A24 so that it’s really weird and dark.” Holland added, “I would do a really weird live-action version of Jak and Daxter.“
‘Jak and Daxter’ is a series of popular video games created by Naughty Dog. It started with “Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy” in 2001. The games are about a hero named Jak and his funny sidekick, Daxter. They explore cool worlds, solve puzzles, and fight enemies. Pratt recently voiced Mario in ‘The Super Mario Bros.
