Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have revealed the first look at Tom Holland wearing the new Spider-Man suit for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie.

The new suit slightly differs from the one seen at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home and is also inspired by the Spider-Man suits worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in their respective films. See it below.
The filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has begun in Glasgow, Scotland. Footage from the set shows a truck being stomped and pushed up during a scene. Watch it below.
As previously reported, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will reportedly be a “much darker” film than Holland’s previous trilogy. In the film, “Spider-Man, Punisher, and Hulk will all fight one another before discovering who the real villains are.”
Recently, speaking to Flip Your Wig, Holland revealed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will rely heavily on practical effects and classic filmmaking techniques. The film is being shot in real-world locations rather than relying on CGI or virtual sets.
He said, “We are gonna use the streets of Glasgow for this massive set piece that we are putting together.”
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film will be a “multiversal grounded” story featuring multiple villains, including Tarantula, Scorpion, Boomerang, Tombstone, and more.
The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast as Gwen Stacy, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. the Punisher), and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas has been cast in an undisclosed role, and Michael Mando is reprising his Spider-Man: Homecoming role as Mac Gargan.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
