Spider-Man 4 re-enters MCU as Sony and Marvel extend collaboration for three additional films
It appears that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 will be part of the MCU again. The previous agreement that allowed Spider-Man to appear in MCU films ended with Spider-Man: No Way Home. Sony Pictures made a net profit of $600 million from the movie as per the Marvel agreement, which earned $1.9 billion worldwide. According to new reports, Sony will extend the agreement with Marvel for three more Spider-Man movies starring Holland.
Tom Holland hints at possible Miles Morales appearance in ‘Spider-Man 4’ amid positive script developments
In an interview with Inverse during the promotion for his new Apple TV+ limited series ‘The Crowded Room.’ Holland said he was honored to introduce Miles Morales to the live-action Spider-Man film. He said, “I would be honored to bring Miles Morales into the live-action world. How we do that, I don’t know, but given the opportunity, I would jump at it.”

It is confirmed that Jacob Batalon’s Ned will not return in Holland’s next Spider-Man trilogy. Edward “Ned” Leeds is a friend of Peter Parker.
Back in 2021, Producer Amy Pascal told Variety: “Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are. “We’re in the process, but with the writers’ strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”
Holland’s Spider-Man 4 release date is slated for late 2025.
