A new international trailer for Sony/Marvel’s Venom: The Last Dance has been released by What’s in the Cinema. The short trailer gives a first look at Lasher, one of the symbiotes forcibly spawned from Venom by the Life Foundation. Watch the trailer below.
The Last Dance features the appearance of multiple symbiotes, including Toxin and Lasher. Now, Eddie and Venom are on the run, pursued by both worlds and an encroaching web. They are forced to make a fateful decision that will bring the curtain down on their last dance. The new trailer from Sony is expected to be released by mid-September.
According to the film’s official plot synopsis, “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
We can confirm that Knull, the Symbiote God, will be the main villain in the film—he will send a Symbiote army after Venom because he needs Venom to execute a secret master plan.
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ will hit theaters on October 25, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
