For Father’s Day 2024, Vin Diesel has shared new concept art for the upcoming ‘Fast 11‘ movie. He is currently filming the new Riddick movie in Europe.
In an Instagram post, Vin Diesel shared the ‘Fast 11’ concept art and wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to you all… while location scouting in Europe for Riddick, the concept art from Fast X part 2 keeps pouring in… wait until you see the American road trip. Haha.”
He added, “On a side note… I saw warships off my country’s shores. Hmmm. I’m not the Tucker type…. As a father, my kids live in that country. Hmmm. Putin, I will fly to the Caribbean. Come have dinner. Let’s not let foolishness dictate the future.”
Recently, actor Tyrese Gibson confirmed that filming for ‘Fast 11’ is expected to begin in early 2025. The film will have a budget of less than $200 million. Universal Pictures aims for simplicity by reducing global locations and focusing on a single heist or race in the plot.
Gibson said, “I know that fans over the years have been wanting to kind of ground the film and get back to more of the street racing and get away from being in outer space and all the other stuff.” Gibson added, “I think right now they’re in the basement, they’re riding, they’re cooking, they’re really trying to pull it together, to make sure that the fans can show up and really enjoy the film.”
Directed by Louis Leterrier from a screenplay by Hodson and Uziel, the film stars Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Gibson as Roman Pearce, Ludacris as Tej Parker, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Sung Kang as Han Seoul-Oh, Charlize Theron as Cipher, Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs, Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes, Brie Larson as Tess, Daniela Melchior as Isabel Neves, and Gal Gadot as Gisele Yashar.
‘Fast 11’ will hit theaters in 2026.
