The show is based on the 2014 novel of the same name by E. Lockhart. It follows the story of a 17-year-old girl from a wealthy family. Cady Sinclair spends her summers on a private island, but after suffering a terrible accident, she struggles to remember the events of her past.
The series stars Emily Alyn Lind, Shubham Maheshwari, Esther-Rose McGregor, and Joseph Zada.
We Were Liars will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 18, 2025.
