The Last of Us is now available on HBO Max. Nico Parker plays Sarah, Joel’s (Pedro Pascal) daughter, in the series. Parker had a screen time of 27 minutes in episode one. Sarah is shot by a soldier and dies in the arms of her father, Joel.
On Joel’s birthday in 2003, the fungus infection started to spread across the United States. Sarah’s ankle was injured during the escape, so Joel took her and carried her to the safe zone, which is protected by the soldiers. Unfortunately, when a soldier spotted Joel with Sarah, he shot Sarah in the stomach, and she died in Joel’s hands.
