WB Games is going through leadership changes and has only a few games set for release. Now, Monolith‘s Wonder Woman game is also facing issues.
The game was rebooted mid-development and has already exceeded $100 million in costs. Also, the studio changed directors in early 2024.

According to Bloomberg, “The game has already cost more than $100 million […] and is still years away from release, if it ever makes it to market.”
Bloomberg reported that the first version of the Wonder Woman game had a system where Diana could befriend enemies. However, that idea was removed, and the game is now a regular action-adventure.
A Flash game was in development at WB Games Montréal but was canceled following the movie’s poor reception. A Constantine game was also pitched but never approved.
Meanwhile, Rocksteady is reportedly planning a new single-player Batman game, though it is still years away from release.
The Wonder Woman game will mainly take place in Themyscira, where Circe has invaded, and you, as Wonder Woman, must defend your homeland. Recently, concept art was leaked online.

The game brings back the Nemesis System with iconic DC characters and procedurally generated allies and enemies that remember your choices and actions. Players can fly across the open world of Themyscira and take on the sorceress Circe, who has invaded Diana’s homeland with an army of Cyclopes, gorgons, and other monsters.
The Wonder Woman game will soon be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
