'Eden' VOD Release Date Revealed

The VOD release date for Eden, starring Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, and Sydney Sweeney, has been revealed.

The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting September 19, 2025.

Directed by Ron Howard from a screenplay by Noah Pink, based on a story by Pink and Howard, the film tells a shocking true story of a group of outsiders (Law, Armas, Kirby, Daniel Brühl, Sweeney) who settle on a remote island, only to discover that their greatest threat isn’t the brutal climate or deadly wildlife, but each other.

Here are the plot details of Eden:

Dr. Friedrich Ritter (Law) and his wife, Dore Strauch (Kirby), are two idealistic Europeans who flee Germany in 1929, renouncing the bourgeois values they believe are destroying humanity’s true nature, to settle on the uninhabited island of Floreana in the Galápagos archipelago. However, their sought-after solitude is short-lived. They are soon joined by Margaret (Sweeney) and Heinz Wittmer (Brühl), serious and capable settlers, and later by Baroness Eloise Bosquet de Wagner Wehrhorn (Armas), along with her two lovers, an Ecuadorian servant, and a plan to open a luxury hotel on the island.

Bad weather, wild animals, and the complete lack of comfort and civilization make their coexistence challenging, but the greatest test will be enduring desperate neighbors willing to go to any lengths to assert themselves.
