Yelena Belova: From Black Widow to White Widow and Beyond
After Natasha Romanoff left the Red Room, Yelena became the second Black Widow, with a more flexible moral stance. Now as the White Widow, she’s broken free from her past and fights alongside Natasha Romanoff. In her new series, Yelena’s character evolves further as she chooses her own path. As a superspy, rogue agent, and shadow of the Black Widow.
In a statement, Gailey said, “I am beyond exhilarated to launch White Widow into her own series! Yelena Belova is an incredible character who deserves independence, community, and the opportunity to kill on her own terms. Getting the chance to work with this team at Marvel is a thrill. I can’t wait for the world to see what Alessandro and I have in store!”
The ‘White Widow’ series’ issue arrives on November 1st.
