Marvel Studios announced that ‘Loki season 2‘ will premiere on October 5, 2023, at 6 PM PT, one day ahead of the original schedule.
On Twitter (X), Marvel shared a glimpse from season 2 and wrote, “Hey y’all! Check this out! Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2, an original series, is streaming on October 5 at 6 PM PT, only on Disney+.” Watch it below.
As reported earlier, the first episode of ‘Loki Season 2’ will run for approximately 45 minutes, including the credits. In episode 1, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) “time slips” between the past and present, aided by Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan), who constructed the TVA’s technology and created a device to return Loki to the present. This episode also explains how the TVA can exist beyond time and reveals that Kang’s death is linked to a time loom.
The first official trailer for Loki season 2 has been recently revealed. The series stars Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Ravonna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie / The Variant, Eugene Cordero as Casey / Hunter K-5E, Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, and Jonathan Majors (Victor Timely).
Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.
