The filming of James Gunn‘s ‘Superman‘ is now taking place at Lordtech Progressive Field (Cleveland), featuring Superman (David Corenswet), Ultraman (undisclosed role), Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi), and The Engineer (María Gabriela de Faría) in a showdown. Superman and Ultraman are having a massive battle on the field. See the leaked images below.
On X, Cleveland.com has shared footage of the fight scenes, showing The Engineer grounding Superman. Is Gunn’s Superman so weak that he can’t take a hit from The Engineer?
Gunn on X (Twitter) has revealed the official logo for ‘Superman’ and reminds, “In exactly one year, Superman opens all over the world.”
In the film, Corenswet plays the role of Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific, Gabriela De Faría as The Engineer, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.
The updated logline for ‘Superman’ reveals that Superman, now a cub reporter in Metropolis, sets out on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent.
Gunn’s ‘Superman’ will hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
