New set images from Netflix’s Stranger Things Season 5 have been shared by X user Christopher Oquendo.
In a set of images from Jackson, Georgia, Nell Fischer (Holly Wheeler) is seen racing Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) in front of the militarized zone in Hawkins. Check out the images below.
In the image below, you can see Schnapp’s Will Byers, arriving at the WSQK Radio Station set on October 15th, 2024, with Winona Ryder, aka Joyce Byers, to his right.
During the Happy Sad Confused podcast’s 10th-anniversary celebration in New York City, David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper in the show, revealed that Season 5, Episode 8, titled “They Land the Plane,” will be the best episode the series has ever done. He also shared that during the read-through, several cast members were moved to tears, especially during the emotional final 20 minutes.
“During the read-through of this episode—just us reading it—about halfway through, people started crying,” he said. “Then, in the last 20 minutes, there was just uncontrollable crying among waves of different people, with Noah Schnapp being my favorite.”
Ross Duffer, the co-creator of the show, has already confirmed that the final season will involve multiple time jumps. Therefore, it appears Vecna will seek his revenge across different timelines. Duffer said, “I’m sure we will do a time jump. Ideally, we’d have shot [Seasons 4 and 5] back to back, but there was just no feasible way to do that. Also, Matt Duffer confirms that ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 will be the final season, concluding the stories of Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, and Hopper.
Speaking on Podcrushed Episode 73, Maya Hawke teased that Stranger Things Season 5 will have eight episodes and revealed that writing and filming each season takes a significant amount of time. Hawke said, “It takes a long time to write each season and a long time to shoot them. We’re making basically eight movies.”
