Exclusive: Marvel Studios has officially greenlit a third part of Black Panther.
According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Black Panther 3 will be released in theaters in February 2028.

It is reported that Damson Idris will be recast as the new T’Challa, and Denzel Washington could have a role in the film. According to reports, Ryan Coogler is writing a role for him, according to the actor himself.
During the 2023 Golden Globes, Letitia Wright told Variety, ‘Black Panther 3’ is already in the works.
Wright said, ‘I think it’s already in the works… It’s gonna take a while, but I’m really excited for you guys to see that.’
In the end credits of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, T’Challa’s son—also named T’Challa—was introduced as a child.
