Just one month after its theatrical release, the VOD release date for Anaconda has been revealed.
The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies starting January 27, 2026.
The film is directed by Tom Gormican, who co-wrote it with Kevin Etten. It serves as a meta-reboot of Anaconda (1997) and is the sixth installment in the Anaconda film series.

Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been best friends since they were kids and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic “classic,” Anaconda. When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they’re dying to make might just get them killed…
