Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
Marvel Studios has already confirmed in Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers teaser trailer that he and Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter have a baby.

According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter’s son is reportedly named James Rogers in Avengers: Doomsday. It appears that Steve and Peggy named their son James Rogers in honor of Bucky Barnes, whose full name is James Buchanan Barnes.
According to scooper MAJESTIC, Peggy and Steve Rogers live in Universe 828. There is a scene that was filmed in a baseball stadium where Steve and his son are present.
We have also reported that in Doomsday, Atwell’s Peggy Carter will reportedly be a follower of Doctor Doom. Carter believes Doom can help her and her son fix the multiverse, a situation partly caused by Steve Rogers.

After the events of Endgame, but before the end of Loki Season 2, Loki finds Steve living with Peggy Carter and their son and warns him that the TVA will erase their timeline because Steve is not meant to be there. Loki secretly moves Steve and his family to the Fantastic Four’s universe (Earth-828) so they can live safely. Years later, during Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom warns them about the incursions and plans to travel to the main MCU to stop them.
Who Is Steve Rogers’ Child in Marvel Comics?
- Sarah Rogers – Daughter of Steve and Rogue (What If…? Earth-9811). She wielded Cap’s shield and Mjolnir and fought Doctor Doom’s son.
- Ellie Rogers – Daughter of Steve and Sharon Carter (Secret Wars: Hail Hydra). A resistance leader on Battleworld with enhanced abilities.
- James Rogers – Son of Steve and Black Widow (Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow). A super-soldier trained after Ultron killed the Avengers.
- Nicky Rogers – Son of Steve and Sharon Carter (What If? #38), named after Nick Fury.
- Sharon Rogers – Daughter of Steve and Peggy Carter from Marvel Future Fight, who became Captain America.
- Steven Rogers Jr. – Son of Steve and Sharon Carter (What If? #38), who did not follow the heroic path of his siblings.
In Avengers: Doomsday, Steve Rogers returns to Earth-616 alongside the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom. Thor arrives first, with Sam Wilson close behind and already leading a new Avengers lineup. When tensions flare between Sam and Yelena, Steve steps in—instantly restoring order.
Steve reunites with Sam, Bucky, and Scott, and even receives Mjolnir from Thor. It’s later revealed the two are secretly on a mission to track down Loki. Meanwhile, Thor’s adopted daughter, Love, plays a key role in setting this journey into motion.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
