Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is reportedly returning to the character’s roots to further develop Peter Parker’s life.
According to insider Daniel Richtman in a new Patreon post, Peter Parker will reportedly have a “blonde” neighbor in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He also claims that Peter is still in love with Zendaya’s MJ in the film.

There are rumors that Kiernan Shipka could make a potential cameo as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She was previously spotted on the set of the film.

The insider adds that Spider-Man will be badly injured in the movie, with Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher bringing him to Claire Temple, aka Night Nurse, to treat his wounds.
We previously reported that Frank Castle saves Peter from a fight at the Bar With No Name and from being killed by several villains. During the fight against Tombstone, when Peter is losing, Frank attacks with everything he has and defeats him. However, Peter is left badly injured.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero. Peter Parker (Tom Holland)is no more, but Spider-Man is at the top of his game, keeping New York City safe. Things are going well for our anonymous hero until an unusual trail of crimes pulls him into a web of mystery larger than he has ever faced before.
In order to take on what lies ahead, Spider-Man not only needs to be at the top of his physical and mental game, but he must also be prepared to face the repercussions of his past.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
