Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is shaping up to be a major event in MCU series history. It’s now official that the Defenders will return in the upcoming season.
The first look at Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) has been spotted on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 in New York City. This marks an official Defenders reunion nearly a decade after their previous team-up. The four actors previously starred together in The Defenders (2017).

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Charlie Cox said that Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will feel like a new era for the show.
“It feels like we’ve shed the skin of the Mayor Fisk era. It feels like it’s a new book, a new dawn, a little bit.”

During a podcast episode of Inside of You, Colter hinted at his return to the role.
He said, “I’ve had discussions with Marvel.” He added, “I do think it’s very, very likely that I will come back at some point, but I don’t know when. But I think I will.”
In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political ambitions in New York City. When their past identities begin to resurface, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 stars Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil from Marvel’s Netflix series and previous Marvel Studios projects. He stars alongside D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Margarita Levieva, Tony Dalton, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, Genneya Walton, Zabryna Guevara, Clark Johnson, Ayelet Zurer, Wilson Bethel, and Elden Henson, all returning from Season 1. New additions include Matthew Lillard, Lili Taylor, and Krysten Ritter.
