Warning: This post contains spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The new villain logos for Spider-Man: Brand New Day tease the film’s dangerous enemies ahead of its July 31 release. In Brand New Day, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will face several villains as he begins a new life after Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature many villains for Peter Parker to face as he starts a new chapter in his life. The enemies include tech-based villains, supernatural characters, and a rumored mutant. Scorpion, Tarantula, Boomerang, and The Hand have already appeared in the movie’s marketing, while Tombstone and Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey are still absent. A newly leaked sticker sheet has also revealed several villain logos from the movie.

The sticker sheet featured cartoon-style artwork of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man together with Savage Hulk, Scorpion, and Boomerang.
Scorpion

After years of waiting, Mac Gargan is finally returning as Scorpion in Spider-Man: Brand New Day following the unfinished tease from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Scorpion’s new logo includes a black scorpion symbol that looks intimidating and dangerous. The yellow background may hint that Peter Parker will face serious trouble from the villain. Fans are also wondering if the logo will appear on Scorpion’s armored suit in the film, especially since Mac already has a scorpion tattoo.
Tarantula

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will introduce Tarantula, a spider-themed assassin known for his agility and poisonous retractable spikes. The trailer briefly teased his fight against Spider-Man, but fans may see more of the battle in the completed film. Tarantula’s logo includes a white circle with a stylized spider at its center, reflecting the villain’s dangerous and strategic nature. However, the live-action design is very different from the comics, where Tarantula’s symbol is larger and spread across his chest.
Boomerang

Boomerang may be a lesser-known Spider-Man villain, but he is expected to have a major role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Armed with specialized boomerangs, the villain will reportedly fight Spider-Man during the early part of the movie. His official logo uses layered red circular rings that represent motion and repeated attacks, perfectly matching his signature weapon. The design also fits Boomerang’s comic-inspired look in the film. In Marvel Comics, however, the character rarely wears an official logo on his costume.
Hulk

Savage Hulk’s return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is teased through a new purple logo featuring the Hulk’s clenched fist at the center. Although Hulk is usually a hero in the MCU, this savage version may become a dangerous threat in New York, forcing Spider-Man and Punisher to stop him. The logo’s fist symbolizes Hulk’s raw strength and rage, while the purple color could hint that he is being controlled by a mysterious force. The color is also a reference to Hulk’s classic purple pants from Marvel Comics. While Hulk does not normally wear a symbol on his costume in the comics, the clenched fist has long been associated with the character.
Here’s the synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
