Warning: This post contains spoilers for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The leaks are not stopping for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The second trailer recently leaked online, reportedly revealing that Sadie Sink‘s character has telepathic abilities and all but confirming that she is playing Jean Grey.
A new Spider-Man: Brand New Day merchandise leak also reveals a keychain featuring Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey. The character appears to be surrounded by pink flame-like powers.

We previously reported that Marvel is giving Sink’s character a new visual flair in Brand New Day, with effects that draw inspiration from X-Men ’97.
In the recently leaked trailer, Sink’s character appears to have mind-control powers. We briefly see a mysterious person wearing a long coat, along with a few shots that may be of her. Several scenes suggest that she can control or influence other people, freeze parts of the city, and possibly even affect Hulk. This matches the trailer’s warning about “a danger that we can’t control. One we can’t even see.”
There are rumors that, in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey is kidnapped by the Department of Damage Control (DODC). Tramell Tillman‘s William Metzger, the head of Damage Control, is reportedly pursuing her after she has been under DODC surveillance for a long time.
AMC Theatres has listed Spider-Man: Brand New Day with a reported runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes, which would make it the longest Spider-Man film to date.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Here are the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
