Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday is expected to be one of the most powerful villains in the MCU, with the character described as “a master of cutting-edge science and powerful magic.” A recent leak also reportedly confirms that Doom uses his magic to awaken the Sentinels against the Avengers.
According to a leaked report, Doctor Doom reportedly captures Franklin Richards from a ship that is being protected by H.E.R.B.I.E. in Avengers: Doomsday.
Doom also manages to control H.E.R.B.I.E. using his magic, and the robot ends up becoming his lackey.
Recently, Alex P. (via The Cosmic Circus) reported that Reed Richards and Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday are two geniuses with very different ideas on how to save the Multiverse, describing them as “two sides of the same coin.”
Doctor Doom has real experience with incursions and knows what’s coming, whereas Reed has only seen them from a theoretical point of view.
In the recent Avengers: Doomsday footage leak, an Incursion is taking place in the X-Men universe. Doctor Doom crashes onto the battlefield, unleashes powerful green magic, and takes control of the Sentinels, which then begin attacking the heroes, including Steve Rogers, Thor, Reed Richards, Yelena, Nightcrawler, Beast, Cyclops, Mystique, and Sam Wilson. Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
