A major new cast update on Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed as reshoots continue. Some major characters are reportedly returning in the film, according to an insider.
According to @JamesMackwl (via Patreon), Florence Pugh‘s Yelena Belova is reportedly the female character with the most screen time in Avengers: Doomsday.
Jeremy Renner will reportedly return as Hawkeye, while Owen Wilson will return as Mobius, who reportedly appears right at the beginning of the film. Also, Tatiana Maslany will return as Jennifer Walters in Avengers: Doomsday. She will appear in her human form, and her role is described as a cameo.
Vanessa Kirby‘s Sue Storm and Letitia Wright‘s Shuri will reportedly develop a friendship in Avengers: Doomsday. They will reportedly be suspicious of Doctor Doom’s intentions from the start.
We recently reported that Doctor Doom captures Franklin Richards from a ship that was being protected by H.E.R.B.I.E. in Avengers: Doomsday. Doom also manages to take control of H.E.R.B.I.E., turning the robot into his lackey.
The insider also claims that Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, but their roles have been reduced. Captain Marvel is reportedly limited to a cameo, with her scene having been filmed last year. Despite her reduced role in Doomsday, Captain Marvel is still expected to take on a major leadership role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
A new report from The UniBricks claims that Avengers: Doomsday LEGO sets will be released on July 26. More tie-in merchandise is also expected to launch around that date.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
