Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Secret Wars.
The new plot details and a major production update on Avengers: Secret Wars have been revealed by a reliable scooper. It’s been a long time since we first heard that Avengers: Secret Wars would be split into two parts, as the film’s script is reportedly much longer.
It is reported that the first part will introduce lesser-known and younger characters, while the second part will be a sort of “Marvel Ultimate Alliance.”

According to scooper @mainmiddleman, who provided an update on Avengers: Secret Wars, which is now in pre-production:
It will indeed be split into two parts.
The first part will introduce lesser-known and younger characters to the general public and show their importance within the universe.
Some of the older heroes will serve as mentors, but most of the characters will be under Doom’s mind control.
The story will adapt Children’s Crusade, but it will take place on the “Battleworld” Doom creates, possibly in the Void.
The characters will have to free the Avengers from Doom’s mind control while facing off against the Avengers and other characters under Doom’s control.
It will be a coming-of-age film.
The second part will be a sort of “Marvel Ultimate Alliance,” bringing together every Marvel hero on the big screen for battle, even those who “flopped” at the box office.
They want something even bigger than Endgame, with a colossal final act featuring the largest number of heroes and villains ever assembled in a single scene. It will be pure fan service.

In a recent leak, we reported that Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man will reportedly be mind-controlled and wear the Symbiote suit in Avengers: Secret Wars. Tobey Maguire’s and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men will reportedly fight Holland’s Spider-Man to free him from Venom’s control.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
